Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice describes what Bartow County Busted Mugshots may receive when someone uses the pages, sends a message, or interacts with a partner search tool. It explains how information is used, when it may be shared, and what choices a visitor may request. Use of the pages means these practices apply.

Information Sent Directly

Search entries

A name, location, or other term entered into a search box is sent to the third-party provider operating that tool. The provider’s own privacy notice controls its handling. Bartow County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own server.

Messages

If a visitor sends an email or contact message, the message and the contact details supplied with it may be kept so a response can be made. Those details are not shared outside the operating organization unless disclosure is required by law or needed to address a legal request.

Technical Data and Cookies

Standard technical information may be recorded when a page loads:

  • IP address or an approximate network location
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed and time spent on each
  • Referring site, when supplied by the browser
  • Dates and timestamps for requests

Cookie choices

Cookies or similar tools may help measure visits and understand how pages are used. Browser settings can block or delete them. Some page functions or partner tools may behave differently when cookies are disabled.

How Information Is Used

Information may be used to:

  • Keep pages available, secure, and reasonably fast
  • Route a search request to the partner service intended to process it
  • See which pages are useful and improve their structure
  • Find errors, abuse, and technical faults
  • Display advertising that may be relevant to a visitor’s interests

Links and Advertising Systems

The pages link to the Bartow County Sheriff’s records route, the Bartow County Jail roster, Georgia court resources, GDC, federal locators, news pages, and third-party search services. Once a visitor leaves these pages, the destination’s privacy policy controls. Those organizations may collect information under their own practices.

Some advertising partners may recognize activity across different sites for ad measurement or interest-based advertising. That activity occurs on the partner’s systems, not under the direct control of this project.

Who May Receive Data

Personal information is not sold as a standalone mailing list. Depending on the interaction, information may be available to:

  • The search partner that receives a submitted query
  • Analytics providers that measure page use
  • Advertising networks and their service providers
  • Law-enforcement or government bodies responding to a valid legal order

Security Limits

Reasonable administrative and technical steps are used to protect information. No internet-connected service can promise that every transmission or stored message will remain secure. This project does not guarantee that a breach, interception, or service failure is impossible.

Visitors Under 18

These pages are intended for adults. They do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent personal data, a parent or guardian may use the contact route to request that it be deleted.

Your Privacy Requests

Depending on applicable law and the information held, a visitor may ask to:

  • Receive a copy of personal data held in a contact record
  • Correct inaccurate contact information
  • Request deletion of a message or other personal data
  • Opt out of certain forms of processing

Requests should identify the information and a way to respond. A request may not override a legal retention duty or data held by a third-party search, analytics, advertising, sheriff, court, or corrections provider.

Changes to This Notice

Privacy practices may change as the pages, tools, or legal requirements change. A revised notice will be posted here with its new effective date. Continued use after an update means the revised notice applies going forward.
